Letter To Readers
Dear Readers,
Happy New Year! I hope 2011 brings you good things, like health, happiness and wonderful books to read!
I've received several emails and letters I'd like to take a moment to address. With two December deadlines and one in January, plus the holidays (What was I thinking when I set this schedule?! Was I thinking?), I've gotten way behind on answering individual reader messages, and I apologize. But here's a group response I posted on my Facebook author page(http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Julie-Miller/25063057967). Hope it answers some questions, and that some of you who have written me privately see this message here or on Facebook or on eHarlequin.
MAN WITH THE MUSCLE is part of a trilogy called The Precinct: SWAT, featuring KCPD SWAT cops Alex Taylor, Trip Jones and Rafe Delgado...and the Rich Girl Killer. Since Harlequin included the book in its "Bodyguard of the Month" promotion, MAN WITH THE MUSCLE didn't also get labeled as a SWAT book. So please be patient (and don't throw stones!) I haven't left a murder unresolved. I think with the book packaging it just isn't clear that there's more to come. I hope you are enjoying Alex Taylor's story enough to continue on with PROTECTING PLAIN JANE and PROTECTING THE PREGNANT WITNESS (out in March and August, respectively) to find out
who the Rich Girl Killer is. Thanks for asking!
Also, congratulations to Angie Collinsworth. She won my December Book GiveAway contest, and received a copy of my newest book featuring the next generation of Taylor Clan hero--MAN WITH THE MUSCLE. Thank you to all who entered my monthly contests in 2010. Look for more exciting giveaways in 2011!
Hope your holidays have been safe and happy.
Happy Reading Julie |
